Robyn Priest

COO

Robyn Priest, MMSc., BA, COMT

Robyn Priest is the youngest daughter of James A. and Ponjola Priest. She was born in Washington, DC while her father was in medical school at Howard University. Educated in Baltimore, Robyn soon learned that education would lead her to her aspiration to “help others”. Skipping the last year of high school, Robyn soon became one of the youngest graduates of Fisk University in Nashville, Tn. She excelled in her chosen major of Biology and minor, Chemistry, graduating in 1979(early) at the top of her 1980 class. After moving to Atlanta, Ga., she went on to receive her Master’s degree in Medical Science from Emory University, becoming the first to receive this prestigious degree from the University and graduating number one in her class.

Robyn’s drive to ‘help others’ has shaped her life, since an early age, first working in her fathers’ medical practice and now, managing a premier surgical practice for one of the largest hospital systems in Maryland. It doesn’t end there; Robyn continues to associate and align her life with organizations that continually give and help others. She is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and has been a member of CHUMS, Inc. since 1987 and National Board member since 1990. She was also the local chapter president until it’s dissolution in 2020. With her lifelong friends, the WBG’s (way back girls), she now carries out the goal and missions of Chums Inc, “Listen to the Children” on her own.

Robyn has been with T11R90, formerly Apex Tri-M Corp., since its inception in 2012. She has worn many hats since that time and now serves as the COO and Vice President. You would be hard pressed to find a more compassionate, caring, giving, knowledgeable person like Robyn, often giving her last so that others may have.
