Hello my great people of the world my name is Benjamin Troupe. I am from the greatest city in the world Swainsboro Georgia by way of Augusta Georgia. I am from one of the best communities on planet earth. Im a country boy who was blessed to discover football at an early age it that love for football afforded me the opportunity to play at Butler High School and named a All American Tight End and be named as one of the top 5 Tight Ends in the Southeast and be named to the prestigious Florida Georgia High School All Star Game where I caught the game winning 2pt conversion to beat team Florida.
That Fall I enrolled at the University of Florida where I had accepted a full athletic scholarship. To many games, players, and moments to remember but I respect and enjoyed playing with and against them all. After my senior season I was named 1st Team All American, 1st Team All SEC, A John Mackey Award Finalist given to the top Tight End in the nation and most importantly a Team Captain voted on by my teammates. I was then selected 40th overall in 2004 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans where I would go to play for 4 years and then playing for the Tampa Bay Bucs and Oakland Raiders to finish my career.
After my playing career was over I ventured into the world of philanthropy, service work, and becoming a public speaker. While I loved speaking my true passion which it is to this very day is service work, the Non Profit sector to be exact. I also took on the world of Media where I worked for ESPN Radio as a media personality for ESPN Coastal’s flagship show Three and Out with Kevin Thomas and BJ Bennett. During that time I was able to establish myself as one of the most efficient CFB and NFL analyst in the Southeast and throughout the country.
I also published 2 books Judee and Jon my Children’s book co-authored by Meco Polk and Uncommon and Unfinished The Ben Troupe Story with BJ Bennett. I started my Non-Profit organization The UncommonCru and my podcast 84 Reasons. One of the best teams I became a part of is T-11 the premier Impact Dispersement company in the South.
I work alongside brilliant minds that are at the forefront of concussion prevention and with proven technology these young men who play the most dangerous yet most beloved sport in America, football run off the field the same way they ran on. I’m involved and stand behind T -11 because of the people that make up the company and future it is building for those individuals who will use, promote, and benefit from this product and its proven technology.
